All Ultrex® Series adds popular option to its industry-leading product line

FARGO, N.D., January 12, 2011 – Integrity from Marvin Windows and Doors continues to build on its industry-leading product lines with new round tops. This classic style is now available in Integrity’s popular All Ultrex Series.

The All Ultrex Series Round Top is made of a proprietary glass reinforced composite material that provides complementary performance to Ultrex, Integrity’s pultruded fiberglass that’s eight times as strong as vinyl.

The new round tops are available in a number of energy-efficient glass options and offer six exterior finishes: Stone White, Pebble Gray, Cashmere, Bronze, Evergreen and Ebony.

The All Ultrex Awning with Rubbed Bronze Hardware

Integrity Windows and Doors continues to expand its line of options with the addition of new hardware finishes to its All Ultrex series of windows and doors.

White has been Integrity’s All Ultrex traditional hardware finish offering, but Almond Frost, Satin Nickel, Brass and Oil Rubbed Bronze are now part of All Ultrex’s hardware finish options.

Satin Nickel, Brass and Oil Rubbed Bronze finishes on the All Ultrex Sliding Patio Door handle have been re-designed with matching interior and exterior design for a pleasing appearance.  Their classical escutcheons and interior handle designs make the All Ultrex Sliding Patio Door an even better-looking door.  The three metal finishes for the Sliding Patio Door are also PVD-grade, for durable resistance to wear and tear.  The popular current hardware design for the All Ultrex Sliding Patio Door continues to be available in white with the new Almond Frost finish.

The four new hardware finish options are available on all operating All Ultrex windows (including double hungs, gliders and single hungs andthe new casement and awning).

Offering new hardware finishes allows builders to choose finishes that complement the rest of a project’s look and feel.

Integrity® from Marvin Windows and Doors continues its reputation of providing the toughest high-performance windows for builders with special sizes for All Ultrex windows. Now builders have the option of specifying custom sizes for All Ultrex windows, in 1/64” increments, within each product’s standard matrix.

Integrity’s All Ultrex line of windows includes single hungs, double hungs, gliders, direct glaze polygons, in-sash transoms, picture units and new casements and awnings.  The windows are made inside and out with Ultrex, a pultruded fiberglass known for its strength and durability. Eight times stronger than vinyl, Ultrex stands up to the elements and will not ding, scratch, warp or corrode.  All Ultrex windows in special sizes will be available in all six of Integrity’s exterior colors, including the newest finish for All Ultrex—Ebony.

Every one of Integrity’s current All Ultrex product options are available on special size units, including the new equal lite cut Grilles-Between-the-Glass, expanded obscure glass offering, and pre-drilled through jamb installation holes.  Integrity’s Built to perform® guarantee promises that special-sized windows’ DP rating will equal that of the next largest standard size. 

And like all Integrity’s orders, All Ultrex windows in special sizes will be delivered in Integrity’s industry-leading 10 calendar day lead time.

The All Ultrex Casement Window

Integrity Windows and Doors’ All Ultrex windows are now available as casements and awnings. 

All Ultrex casement and awning windows are made inside and out with Ultrex, a pultruded fiberglass that is eight times as strong as vinyl and equally strong as steel.  The new casement and awning windows resist dinging, scratching, warping or corrosion. Available in six exterior finishes, the All Ultrex casement and awning is built tough so it doesn’t fade.  Because of this, the All Ultrex casement and awning can be offered in dark colors like Ebony, unlike vinyl windows which can fade easily.

Like the window itself, hardware is tough, durable and beautiful.  A single handle sequential lock offers security and the operation of a multi-point sequential locking system. The handles on the All Ultrex casement and awning are folding handles.  They operate smoothly and have a clean look that doesn’t interfere with window treatments.

The All Ultrex Casement and Awning windows also come with the option of ultra energy-efficient LoĒ3-366 glass. When LoĒ3-366 glass is used, the All Ultrex Casement and Awning qualify for the $1500 Energy Tax Credit.

The All Ultrex casement and awning join double hungs, single hungs, sliders, polygon windows and a sliding patio door in the All Ultrex line.  The casement and awning are built with the same sightlines as other All Ultrex products to create numerous assemblies. For added flexibility, the All Ultrex Casement and Awning are available in custom sizes of 1/64” increments, within each product’s standard matrix.
